Louise Danckwardt: Equality leads to profitability and long-term success
Like many other businesses and industries, we constantly strive to be an attractive workplace. For men, for women, for young talents and for professionals with senior experience. And, of course, for individuals with diverse backgrounds and different origins.
When I accepted the challenge to be Agency Director at Sandberg Trygg, one of our primary goals was to attract a greater number of female colleagues. Looking at our business and competition, I think it is safe to say that many are still struggling with this.
The reason we want a mix of experience and genders is that we truly believe this is the right way to go. Not only because it is a shared value, but also because it gives us a solid foundation on which to build profitability and long-term sucess.
And now, three and a half years later, we are well on our way! In mid-August 2017, we reached a 50/50 split between women and men at the agency. I am very proud of this, but above all it is a source of collective pride.
We all agree that this has provided us with an even more dynamic workplace where everyone can thrive and feel at home. And that is the most important thing for us – and for me.
